Onsite Manager - Couple

Waters Edge Group manages four complexes on the Gold Coast with a total of 800 properties, the business employs 20 people so you will be part of a team that want to make a difference.

This role is for an "Experienced Management Rights Couple" that are hands on to manage our complex at Mermaid Waters that boasts 226 properties.

The office is separate to the main living residence thus providing separation between work and homelife.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following duties:

Manage the complex pools and assist when necessary to grounds team, you will take care of all common property and general maintenance.

Ensure all duties in the caretaking agreement are adhered too and completed, including.

Keep the pools to industry standards and test water daily.

Oversee grounds staff and trades that attend to various common property maintenance.

Be able to perform maintenance tasks such as basic plumbing, painting and handyman work for tenants and owners.

Handle out of hours emergency phone calls (rare if at all), manage the office during business hours and be contactable by phone on Saturdays between 8am-12pm.

Excellent communication skills with a friendly and engaging personalities that can work with committees.

Experience is must in managing a large-scale complex with multiple pools, lawns, and gardens.

You must hold a current QLD property license and have experience in managing rental properties.

You must be able to operate the Trust Accounting Software - REI and perform EOM processes.

Have a strong understanding of the Act.

The funding:

You will be provided with fixed funding of $110000-$120000 per annum as a couple, you have the added bonus of real estate sales, you can earn 50% of the commission.

We are able to accept applications from individuals that bring Real Estate or have trades skills i.e Plumber or General Maintenance.
